My Review:
Forgiving Reed is a sweet tale of second chances and forgiveness. It is full of emotional turns but has its light and fluffy moments as well.
When the story first starts, Kori suffers a traumtic loss and it leaves her flailing. She's not sure where to go from that point, but she ends up going home to her parents. But going home means running in to people she had essentially run away from and she knows its not going to be easy to face the past hurts.
Reed has changed in many ways since he last saw Kori. He's realized what he lost and the error of his ways so to speak, but he doesn't expect forgiveness. And he dares not hope for anything more. But as he struggles with Kori's "hate", he decides he wants to be there for her, at least as a friend.
The road to forgiveness isn't always easy, and both parties have to work at it. Kori holds her feelings of hurt and betrayal close and doesn't want to give them up because she doesn't want to give over the power to anyone to hurt her again. Slowly she starts to let go of the past and move on to giving a second chance to Reed. Reed does everything in his power to help Kori, even knowing she might never forgive him completely.
Watching Kori and Reed work through their issues and finding the way back to each other, taking their second chance and fighting for it was beautiful.
Forgiving Reed shows that sometimes things happen for a reason and people need second chances. Fate brings people to us for a reason and its up to us to work it out.
