An Obsession with Vengeance is a fabulous addition to the Wanted Men series. Like the previous books, this book is full of a bit of everything. Enough to suck you in and not let you go until you read the very last line.
Maksim may be my favorite yet, I'm not sure why, but I felt especially drawn to him in previous books and loved getting to find out more about him. He's not had an easy life, but he's pretty happy with the way life is right now and why shouldn't he be. Used to getting what he wants, things take a slight turn when he meets Her.
Sydney is dealing with things in her life, she doesn't want to fall for guy, but she's got little choice but to let someone into her life to help and it doesn't take much before she's losing the control she wants to hold onto so strongly. I liked Sydney a lot, especially that she wasn't one to just hand over control or not stick up for herself. She wasn't one to just sit down and shut up and do what she was told all of the time. She could be funny and she could be sweet, I loved that about this character she felt very real.
An Obsession with Vengeance is full of action, some swoony moments, and of course steam. The road to happiness doesn't always come as we expected it to but finding the place we were meant to be with the people we were meant to be with makes the journey worth it. This is proven with Maksim and Sydney through this great story. I can't wait for more of this series.
