Synopsis:

Ellie Washington lost her husband in a tragedy five years ago at Christmas. She wouldn’t have made it through her grief if not for her husband’s brother, Nick, who helped her pick up the pieces of her shattered life. And with every year, her feelings for Nick have grown. Now she realizes she might be in love with him, but that’s not fair, because Nick deserves a life that isn’t about his brother’s widow and son.

Sharing his life with Ellie and her son has been the balm that soothed Nick’s soul after losing his brother. Now that friendship has turned into something deeper. Nick doesn’t want to upset the status quo, but someone has to make the first move, and it’s time they figure out if their feelings are real. Nick believes in what they have. He also believes in Christmas miracles, and he thinks they’re both long overdue for one.

REVIEW

Love Me By Christmas was a quick read that drew me into the holiday mood and the magic of Christmas.   Ellie and Nick were a great pair and their story really pulled me in.

When Ellie lost her husband while pregnant with their son, she didn't quite know what to do, so she took her brother-in-law's lead and allowed him to welcom her and her child into his home - but now that years have past and they've grown together and bonded, Ellie isn't quite sure staying is for the best - especially not for Nick - who deserves to find his own happiness and life outside of her and his nephew.

But Nick's feelings for Ellie have also changed and grown but he doesn't know how to tackle them without creating more problems.  But the feelings are so strong, he knows something has to give and someone has to make a move.

With more than their hearts on the line, can these two friends find the way to each other as something more?  Can they create between themselves more than a family unit?  Will the magic of the holidays return for Ellie and help heal her heart?
