Now she’s everything to him… Despite other prospects, family loyalty has Lucy Carreras running one of her uncle’s prosperous hotels. But the longer she observes its operations, the more she believes the elegant establishment is host to some shady exploits. When her suspicions are confirmed by Leighton—a dangerous man straight out of her fantasies—Lucy’s entire world explodes when she learns just how evil her uncle’s sins are. Now she can’t stand by and let it continue. She and Leighton will take Alexei down together…if they can survive the deadly storm hurtling toward them.

REVIEW
Covert Games is book 6 in the Redemption Harbor series, and though I'd say you could read it as a standalone - to really get the feel of the rest of the characters and their freind/familial connections you should read the series from start to finish. This book delivers us Leighton's story and I've been waiting to see the woman who wins him over.

Leighton and the team are off to New Orleans in their attempt to pin down Alexei Kuznetsov and help a friend out on a personal connecting matter as well, but Leighton couldn't expect to find so much more while there, namely his match in Alexei's niece, Lucy.

I was a fan of Lucy from the start, though obviously you never know a person until you know them, I figured out that there were many layers to Lucy and how she could be connected to Alexei and know nothing about his nefarious deeds.

Covert Games lacked for nothing on the suspense, action, and romantic chemistry levels, drawing me into the story, the characters and the budding connection between Leighton and Lucy.  Reus delivers this tale,  with just the right balance to intrigue and hook readers while building up anticipation for what's to come in future books in the series.
