REVIEW
In the Moment was a quick but sweet read.
Cadence had been through a lot the past couple of years and finds herself in a new and awkward position of needing a new start with her life. But Cadence isn't exactly sure who the new her is, and therefore she not only needs a fresh start she also needs to find the new Cadence.
When she meets Luken at a club, she finds herself opening back up to life and allowing herself a bit of change, but nothing drastic. When she runs into Luken again at work, she can't deny there's something there, though their age difference bothers her.
Luken felt an instant connection with Cadence and he wants more, but will things be able to work out for them?
I really enjoyed how this story unfolded and how everything worked together. If ever two people were meant to be, it was Luken and Cadence. In the Moment was a sweet romantic tale, it hit on my emotions, made me swoon, but also had a lot of depth for a novella. If you are looking for a quick read to brighten up your day, look no further than In the Moment.
