The Last Riders are a Motorcycle Club created by eight ex Navy SEALS, that make no excuses for the life they have chosen to lead. These men fight hard and f**k harder. Get your first four votes from Razer, Viper, Knox and Shade.
Razer’s Ride: Book One
Beth Cornett is the town good girl, so staying out of the way of the motorcycle club’s dangerous members was a no brainer. Unfortunately, she manages to catch the eye of Razer, who has every intention of tempting her to take him on despite her misgivings. When her worst fears are realized, she is left heartbroken, determined to forget her walk on the wild side.
Razer was not going to change for any woman, not even Beth. Their lifestyles were too different; betrayed she ran. Realizing his mistake too late; she was not about to forgive and forget. It takes a killer intent on targeting Beth to bring her back to him and The Last Riders for protection. Razer may have learned his lesson, but this time, as long as she is at the club, she has to play by their rules.

Viper’s Run: Book Two
Winter Simmons received the surprise of her life when she discovered the man she had  been dating for the last two years was actually Viper, president of the Last Riders. A high school principal, Winter has no intention of ruining her reputation in the community to be with a man who betrayed her trust. Unforgiving, she turns her back on him, only to find that Viper is not the gentleman he portrayed.
Determined to find his brother’s killer, Loker James kept his identity as President of The Last Riders a secret from Winter. When the truth comes out, he is determined to make her see the real man who can control not only a group of dangerous bikers, but a woman whose life is a rulebook. Unable to prevent herself from being drawn into the very club she despises, Winter is about to lose everything important to her, unless Viper can prove she’s more than a moonlight run.
Knox’s Stand: Book Three
Knox, a former Navy Seal, has been in several dangerous situations, but nothing compares to dealing with Diamond Richards. Framed for murder, he needs the passionless lawyer to prove his innocence. But when he no longer needs her help, he’s going to show her the passion she’s capable of and walk away a free man.

Diamond plans on earning her huge fee to prove Knox is innocent, but she had no idea the muscled biker could bring out the passion she kept hidden behind her designer clothes. Trying to find a murderer is easier than dealing with The Last Riders and Knox’s sexcapades. He’s going to find out there is one woman worth standing and fighting for, despite his desire for freedom.
Shade’s Fall: Book Four
Shade is everything Lily doesn't want in a man. He's rude, obnoxious and he's definitely not a cowboy. The tattooed enforcer for The Last Riders is a mystery Lily doesn't want to solve. He's too much for her to handle, especially with the nightmares from her past constantly threatening her sanity.
Lily is everything Shade wants in a woman. She's sweet, kind and submissive. When she discovers the truth about The Last Riders, it threatens to tear apart every relationship within the club. Her rebellion causes the predatory instincts to rise in the ex Navy SEAL sniper.
When The Last Riders are threatened by another motorcycle club just as determined to claim Lily, Shade is her only hope of surviving the approaching confrontation. Could their passion be Shade's downfall?

“Keep the engine running,” I say. “If I’m not out in five minutes, leave.”

Poe nods her head, but doesn’t argue.

When the nine o’clock hour comes, both she and I watch the clock on the dashboard turn to one minute after.

“You’ll need to keep your mask on, Poesy. Make sure none of your hair is showing,” I say. “Keep your head down the entire time.”

“Okay,” she answers in a small voice.

“If you see cops—”

“I know what to do, Lowen. I know you want me to leave you.” She sighs. “But I don’t know if I can.”

Despite our circumstances, I smirk. “Hopefully you won’t have to.”

At nine thirty, Poe and I switch seats, and she gets behind the wheel while I load the pistol. With hands that shake uncontrollably, I place the ski mask over my head but don’t pull it down my face. I help Poesy with hers, tucking in every stray strand of hair so they remain unseen.

She grabs my wrist, and our eyes meet. I see fear combined with love and loyalty in her stare.

I kiss her knuckles and promise with the chance of lying, “We’re going to be okay.”

Unlike when we drove into the garage, the streets are alive and filled with a variety of automobiles, and dirty sidewalks carry several pedestrians. The forty-second drive to the bank feels like forty years. Thick blood courses through my veins, and I feel it flow through arteries and vessels, nourishing muscle and bone. My head echoes with the thump, thump, thump of my hard heartbeat. Every breath is shallower than the one before it.

“Pull down your mask,” I say, but my voice sounds foreign and feels a million miles away.

As Poe drives into California Credit Union’s parking lot, I grip the cold steel in my hand.

The edges of my vision blur; I’m blinded by adrenaline.

My skin crawls like I’m covered in spiders; I’m delirious with edginess.

“Your ski mask,” Poesy shrieks. “Cover your fucking face, Lowen.”

My girl reaches over and pulls it down for me. The car stops to a screeching halt, and reality crashes into me in a brutal rush, stripping me of air and voice.

“If we’re in this, you need to go,” Poesy says in a calm but stern tone, hidden behind her black mask.

There’s peace in her eyes.

There’s strength in the girl who stayed with me when I was locked up.

The one who’s remained by my side, believing and starving all at the same time.

With the gun in my hand and determination in my heart, I leave Poesy in the car and push open the glass double doors into the bank.

As I step foot onto the burgundy carpet, I yell, “Everyone down on the fucking floor!”

Blog Tour: Paradise Fought Abel by L.B. Dunbar

I'm not a fighter.
I was born into a fighting family. As the middle child, I was overlooked in favor of my older brother.
He took the negative attention, too. In comparison, there's nothing special about me.
I’m not as big as Cobra. I’m not as strong as Cobra. He's the alpha.
I'm a beta.
The second son.
The lesser one.
The one never encouraged to fight, never encouraged to do anything, but stay out of my father’s way.

I'm not a lover either - but I wished to be – that’s why I needed her.
I met a girl in the pouring rain.
Sounds cliché, but it's true. It changed everything.
Because of love, I learned to fight.

Betas come second, but in this fight, my story is first.
If I thought I was going to make a speedy getaway, I was wrong. My savior caught up to me, half way down the walk, outside the finance building. He was quick and a large hand wrapped around my upper arm.
“Whoa, sister,” he said, slightly out of breath. “You almost got away from me again.”
“What?” I questioned. I had no idea what he meant: again.
“Never mind,” he muttered, his hand still on me. I looked down at it and he immediately released me. My eyes pinched as I realized I didn’t mind his hand on my skin. There was something nonthreatening about him. He seemed rather innocent, studious, actually. His shirt was buttoned almost to the top and tucked into his pants. The sleeves secure at the cuffs. His jeans were snug and hugged him well. He wore dark rimmed glasses that screamed smart. Brown boots looked too new on his large feet. It was like he had the right parts but the wrong combination.
His blue eyes were soft and easy to look into. They practically spoke to me, but I had no idea what he was saying. His dark hair was disheveled, a bit shaggy, but cool looking. He kind of looked like a pop star, which was a little too sugar sweet for me. His form was questionable. It was hard to tell what kind of body he had under those clothes. He looked rather preppy, like half the guys at this university. I didn’t want to think about it. I’d just sold my soul for another semester.
“So when do you want to do this?” I asked. His blank stare told me he had no idea what I meant.
“Us,” I said, pointing between him and me.
“I…” His voice trailed off as he gawked at me. His expression changed from confusion to shock.
“I didn’t buy you to sleep with you,” he said, a touch of disbelief in his voice. His face turned crimson, then fell. “Why, have you done that before?” It was my turn to be surprised and offended.
I turned on my heels and began stomping away from him. He was too quick and he caught me again. His hand on my arm halted me. This time he didn’t release me when I peered down at his fingers wrapped around my bicep.
“Look. I need help,” he blurted. His face pinked a little, and it was sweet. “I don’t need help with sex. I need help with before.” His tone dropped, and he looked side to side to see if anyone would hear him. I took his meaning.
“You don’t know how to do foreplay?” I questioned in a loud whisper, trying to hide my astonishment. How could anyone have sex and not know a touch of foreplay?
His face pinked again.
“Not that,” he said, sounding like a child. “The flirting. The dating. The…other stuff.”
I was stunned. I stared at him, taking in his features again. He was kind of cute, leaning toward the potential for good looking. He couldn’t possibly need help with this request. The confusion on my face made him speak.
“I don’t know how to flirt.” The words swirled between us.
“I don’t understand.” I didn’t. I didn’t know what he wanted from me.
“I need lessons how to be…cool: with girls. Call it a tutoring session. I need to learn how to be…seen.” His voice took on a touch of sadness. He couldn’t possibly be serious. I continued to stare at him. My mouth might have actually dropped open a bit, and I noticed he was watching my lips. It was a little exciting the way he stared at them. I licked them and his pupils dilated, filling in more black over the blue. His expression changed. Knowingly, he blinked when he realized I was teasing him. His lip quirked up and a dimple showed in his cheek.
“I need to date you,” he blurted. “To learn how to do, what you just did to me.”

As a previous reader of Dunbar's Legendary Rockstars series, I was super excited to see how she would take on the MMA world with this new series. I was not let down.

Abel is an amazingly conflicted character.  He's hard to get a bead on at first, you get hints at his character, but it unfolds even more over time. I loved each and every step of the way to finding out just how strong this man was.  He's been let down and pushed over for a long time, set aside for the brother who is more, the one who is wanted and adored.

Elma sucked me in from the start, she comes off as sort of the quirky best friend everyone loves at first  but we come to find she's so much more too. Elma is on a mission, and to get it done, she's making not-so-good decisions, but its all for what thinks is a good reason and therefore its going to be worth it.

Elma and Able deal with a LOT throughout their journey in this book, The face demons, the fight obstacles, and they find their way closer together, discovering a strength they might not have realized before.   I'm not going to spoil anything because this is one of those books that is too delicious to discover all on your own.  So I'll add this -- These characters, this story, it is not your average MMA book, LB Dunbar adds her own unique brand to it, and it brings a whole new level to the love story of a fighter.

We are submerged into a new sort of fighting world, and as we read further into the story our emotions are heightened and our feelings for the characters come out full force.

Well Done, LB Dunbar, I look forward to future books in the series.

L.B. Dunbar loves to read to the point it might be classified as an addiction. The past few years especially she has relished the many fabulous YA authors, the new genre of New Adult, traditional romances, and historical romances. A romantic at heart, she’s been accused of having an overactive imagination, as if that was a bad thing. Author of the Sensations Collection,Sound AdviceTaste TestFragrance FreeTouch Screen, and Sight Words, she is also author of the Legendary Rock Star series, beginning with The Legend of Arturo King. She grew up in Michigan, but has lived in Chicago for longer, calling it home with her husband and four children.

New York City. The city that never sleeps. Especially when you’re there as part of a no-holds-barred bargain to serve your master.

Declan

I have her now, right where I want her. Mine, for the week in New York. The ultimate city to play in and the one I’d always wanted to play with.

And now I have the money to give her everything, VIP at the hottest spots in town, waited on hand and foot at the poshest restaurants and spas, lavishing her with jewelry and a custom-made gown for a gala at the Met. I want to surround her with every luxury.

But not because I’m a good man. I’m not good at all. It’s been six long years since I lusted after her as a penniless ranch hand. I haven’t just grown rich over those years. I’ve also become a master at domination, experienced in all of the wicked ways to wield power.

Now I have the week to torment her the way she tormented me. She’s new to all of this, innocent, but she’s so responsive, so eager. This week, she’s going to submit to me in every way. And she’s going to love it. I won’t rest until I make her beg, again and again. When a good girl should say stop, Kara’s going to beg me for more.

Kara

It feels like a fairytale, swept off to New York City in a private jet, a gown tailored to me for a black tie gala. Celebrities and Broadway shows and opulence beyond my wildest dreams.

But if this is a fairytale, Declan is the beast. Dark, powerful, commanding every fiber of my being. He torments me. Blindfolded, bound, quivering and panting, I don’t recognize myself. I should fight it.

But I love every second of it. I crave it. I never know what he’ll do next. Each level he takes me to, I find myself begging for more.

The rational part of my brain knows this all has to crash and burn. Our two worlds can’t mix. This is nothing more than an arrangement, bound to end after the ball at the end of the week. Like Cinderella, only Declan is no prince. There isn’t going to be a sweet happy ever after here.

But I can’t turn away. When the flames lick and burn so good, I can’t resist. All I can do is strip down and offer myself into the heat.

NOTE: Unleashed is a four-volume story launching the Beg for It series about the hot, alpha males in Declan's family and the battles they wage with the strong, sexy women who make them finally meet their match.

Excerpt

“Give me your purse,” I commanded.

She looked at me, confused, but did as I asked. I liked how she trusted me. I slipped the gift from my other jacket pocket into it, then handed it back.

“I want you to go and do something for me.” I beckoned her closer. She leaned over and I could smell her, honey sweet and light. Close to her ear, I whispered, “There’s something in there for you. Go to the restroom and put it up inside your pussy.”

She pulled away, her back straight and surprised. I loved her eyes wide like that, open with shock and arousal all at once. It might be my favorite look on her, either that or flushed pink, lips parted screaming my name as she came. Both worked for me.

It seemed to take forever, Kara up and away from the table in the bathroom. A waiter refilled our water glasses. Another one came to ask if I needed anything. “Kara,” I wanted to growl, but I simply waved him off. Impatient, I still liked the thought of her in a stall, embarrassed, fumbling around inside her purse and pulling out the cool, metal egg. She’d probably hesitate, unsure what it was, wondering if she should do what I said or even how. I was pretty sure she’d never had a vibrating egg up inside of her before. She probably didn’t even know it vibrated. Yet.

A better man would have stopped at the first gift, kept things classy and thoughtful. Not me. Sure, I wanted to shower Kara with jewels, but deep inside I also had ferocious needs. The beast in me needed to be served.

I watched her as she walked back to the table, her eyes big, that shawl still draped lightly over her breasts. Her naked breasts, as per my instructions. My cock throbbed against my thigh. Under the thin gauze I could still see them jiggle as she walked, nothing holding them in.

Other men watched her, too. How could they not? She looked fresh and glorious, a newly opened tulip sprung from the frozen March ground. I still wanted to sock them all in the jaw and roar she was mine, pounding my chest.

Instead, I watched her like a predator stalking its prey. That wrap was coming off the second I got her beside me. I wanted to see that smooth, thin silk draping down her full, round breasts. I wanted her nipples pressing against the silk in the middle of this restaurant, her breath catching, her eyes flitting around nervous, wondering if anyone could see even though I had us seated over in a private corner.

The hem of her dress barely touched mid-thigh, long enough for public but not by much. Only I knew she had nothing underneath it.

She sat back down next to me. I’d moved her chair closer while she was gone. I didn’t want to miss a second of the show she was about to put on for me. The one she didn’t realize was about to happen.

“How’d it go?” I asked, nonchalant. In my pocket, I held the remote control button for the vibrating egg. I didn’t press it yet, though. I waited.

“OK, I guess.” She looked flushed, embarrassed, and took a furtive sip of her water. “What is it?” she whispered.

“Something we’ll both enjoy,” I assured her. “Now pull your chair in closer to the table. And take off your wrap.”

She looked at me, trusting, wanting, and brought the cashmere wrap down along the back of her chair. Without the cover, I could see her lush, round breasts underneath the silk, erotic and bare. Under my gaze, she began to respond, her nipples pressing out hard, her breasts rising and falling with her breath. She looked down, embarrassed, and crossed her arms over her chest.

“No.” I shook my head. She bit her lip, arms still up. “Kara,” I began, taking a finger to her chin and directing her to meet my eyes. “Never be embarrassed with me. I am not going to humiliate you. Do you understand?”

She met my gaze, her eyes round and luminous. I swear, the way she looked at me, it was like I was her hero even if I was actually a villain. Even when I’d had nothing, she’d looked at me that way. In a city of beautiful women, I had the best one.

Trusting me, she brought her hands down to her sides, giving me my view. I could see her breasts again, the silk against them as if poured down from above, coating her and revealing as much as they covered.

“Look up at me, Kara.” I fixed my gaze on her and pressed the button on the remote control. To start, I kept the vibrations on low.

She gasped, grasping the side of her chair and looking around wildly.

“Eyes on me, Kara,” I whispered to her, commanding.

“Declan!” she said, breathy, confused.

“Yes,” I encouraged her. “Let me see how you feel.”

Her mouth opened slightly in pretty pants, her eyes flickered closed for a moment. Her nipples stood out, X-rated and explicit against the cool silk. She arched her neck a bit, her chin tilted up.

“Does that feel good, Kara?” With my thumb, I nudged the intensity of the vibrations up a notch.

Her breath caught and she squirmed in her seat, biting her lip.

“Declan!” she cried, her voice a bit louder.

“Quiet now,” I admonished. “You don’t want anyone to hear you.” Her eyes flew open and she brought her hands to the table as if she’d been caught touching herself. I took my finger off the button and let her rest.

“What are you doing?” she whispered, astonished.

“I’m controlling you,” I said simply, taking a sip of my drink. “I’m going to play with you all night.”

“Declan, you can’t just—”

I pressed the button again, sending her directly into the medium power. Her words turned into a gasp and she gripped the sides of the table.

“That’s right,” I coaxed her. “Show me how good it feels.” She tilted her head back, her nipples pushing against the fabric, her back arched. She wasn’t going to be able to take too much of this, I realized. We’d have to work up to it. Then again, I wasn’t going to be able to take too much of it, either. My cock already strained for release and all I could think about was how wet she’d be, how quickly and easily I could slam into her and fuck her senseless until we both came hard.

I had to touch her. No one would notice. Amidst the soft lighting and ambient sounds of laughter and clinking glasses we were nothing more than a couple having dinner in a quiet corner. Only I could see the arousal on Kara’s face, the way she fought for control. Futile, that. I had control. I knew she’d be wet, but I wanted to check anyway, feel the evidence on my finger. Maybe make her taste it there in public in the restaurant.

My hand stealing underneath the tablecloth, I started at her knee, then stroked my way down her inner thigh up to the apex. She quivered underneath me, her breathing strained.

“Don’t make a sound,” I reminded her, as much to heighten her sensations as to keep her quiet. I didn’t care if we made a scene, but I wanted her to feel nervous, scared, excited. It made it all the more charged and erotic.

Whisper-light, I feathered my way along her inner thighs, then up and along her sex. Soaked. Fully dripping, swollen and drenched.

“That’s very naughty, Kara,” I reprimanded her, stroking her slick pussy lips. “I’m going to need to punish you for this. Getting so wet in the middle of a crowded restaurant. You’re very bad.”

She moaned softly and I couldn’t help it, I had to turn the power up, the vibrations hitting her now strong and fast. Her breathing accelerated. I could see the pulse in her neck pounding.

“Declan,” she panted, hungry. “I might—I need—”

“Hmm.” I watched her, my hand still underneath the table stroking her slick slit. I pulsed, medium to high and back again. She whimpered in her throat. I turned it off.

I kept it going for another half an hour, while the waiter cleared our table, through a delectable light sorbet to close. I’d stop, she’d catch her breath, I’d start again and each time it took her deeper, closer. I had her right where I wanted her.

“Declan, I, oh!” She brought a spoonful of sorbet up to her mouth, dissolving it into her hot mouth with a moan of pleasure as her pussy throbbed with vibrations.

“Vladimir’s waiting in the car outside,” I informed her. Her eyes opened and she looked at me, eager. “You’d like to go?” I asked her, teasing.

“I need…” she paused, licked her lips, wiggled in her seat. I loved making her squirm for me.

“You need more.” I had a smug, satisfied smile on my face, I knew it, but I had a control button in my hand and I could play with her all night.

“Please,” she begged softly.
