Exclusive Excerpt: The grand ballroom is lavishly decorated in black, white and gold with at least forty tables, each seating ten, placed throughout the dimly lit room. A large dance floor is at one end of the room with a band and singer on stage playing Sinatra’s Fly Me to the Moon. Sidling up to the bar, I order a scotch. Surveying the room, it takes two sweeps before I spot them. He’s like a human jail cell. One arm anchors her waist, his hand cuffing her wrist. Fuck, my chest tightens at seeing a woman caged like that, especially when she now looks nothing like the vibrant, fiery woman I met early today. Her face is vast emptiness. Now it makes more sense. I loved the world Kristen Ashley created for us with the Rock Chick Series and I loved each and every book within the series, but I was always curious to know more about Daisy because she quickly became a favorite. So I was absolutely thrilled when I knew this book was being written and finally we were going to get Daisy and Marcus' story. I couldn't have imagined a better story for these two characters.

Throughout the series, we got glimpses into Daisy's past and how she became who she was in the present. We knew of her stripping glory days, we knew that she had suffered and assault, but we never got to see the reality that was all Daisy endured, and so in Rock Chick Reawakening we get to see all those details and how they formed Daisy into the southern women she was and how she won Marcus' heart and how he stole hers over time.

This book was just like others in the series in that it ran you through the course, keeping you on your toes and guessing while also grabbing your heart and making you swoon. Daisy and Marcus had an unusual start, but it was clear to see the love between them ran so deep and was so true. This book was a fitting end to the series and to give readers one last glimpse into the world of the Rock Chicks and the Hot Bunch.

What happens when two people who are content in their lives, happily 'not in a relationship' find a deep connection through only means of text messages between each other decide to move past being strangers? In a few words - The best thing ever.

Banner and Logan meet through text messages and develop a closeness that Logan decides to up by making the trip to New York from Kentucky and putting a face to all those text messages he's been receiving, especially those of late that have him wondering where things might lead. Banner isn't sure how to proceed once Logan comes to town, she's drawn to him but also is trying to change her ways and doesn't want to ruin their friendship by throwing herself at him.

Banner grew up in New York with parents who had little time for her and who were never satisfied by what she was doing. She's sassy and smart, she's inventive, coming up with her own ideas to form her own business. Banner is very independent and too proud to allow others to help her out without giving something in return, which is how she finds herself in Kentucky.

Logan's been inundated with offers from women who want to be "his". Women who are living on the dreams of happily ever after with Logan, even though he's not interested. Which makes it that much more fun to watch as he's determined to make Banner his woman. He's never really had to chase a woman before, but he's willing to do what it takes to win her over because he sees something in her, he's never seen in another woman.

The banter between Banner and Logan is amazing and shows how well they are pulled to one another, their chemistry sizzles, and the interactions between them, both of the friend variety and when things go further drew me in to the story and left me wanting more. This book held my interest from page one and had me laughing at times while rolling my eyes at others as Banner discovered how different small town Kentucky could be from the big city.

I really enjoyed the side characters in this book as well, especially Banner's elderly neighbor who was hilariously prudish and cranky but in a way you couldn't help but appreciate and love.

I can't wait to see where Meghan takes us with the rest of Banner and Logan's story in Real Good Love.

Meghan March has been known to wear camo face paint and tromp around in woods wearing mud-covered boots, all while sporting a perfect manicure. She's also impulsive, easily entertained, and absolutely unapologetic about the fact that she loves to read and write smut.
