I got out of the Marine Corps to give my daughter a better life. I’m a strong and capable single dad. I got this, right? Not so much.

Now I’m standing here showing my butt—no, literally. It's the required uniform at Man Buns, the restaurant I’m working at. (See Mistake #1).
In any case, I can tell you one thing—it’s damn near impossible to convince the woman I can’t live without to take me seriously when I’m serving up burgers, half-naked, and women are constantly ogling my assets.
I’ve gotta try, though. Because Kai is the woman for me, and she’s perfect with Aya. I’ve just gotta get these man buns in gear and figure out how to win her over.

Man Buns is a hilarious tale of romance. Denver and Kai's lives feel like they've never had a dull moment and yet neither of them have been fully living life either.
Denver's world revolves around his daughter and being all he can be to take care of her, so when he leaves the military and moves to anoter island he's no sure of his path - but he's got a friend who says he's there to help 0 including with a job - only he forgot to mention exactly the type of work Denver would be doing - which is laugh riot number one! But in setting up this new life, Denver meets Kai and everything changes.
Kai has been her life on hold, trying to be mom, dad and sister to her younger sister since the loss of their parents. She's firm and independent but also kind of a bore because she's not really living - just doing what she has to do day to day. When Denver asks her on a date she decides to give dating a chance, not expecting the connection to form between them.
Man Buns takes us and these two characters on quite a journey together. One filled with humor, banter, and antics, but also some emotional twists and a strong connection between them. The addition of Denver's daughter only adds to the story.
