When innocent and unaware Nora lands in his path, it’s as if the universe hands him the ammunition to finally drag his enemy through the mud.

But as his plan for vengeance gets more twisted, so do his feelings for Nora. And as her immersion into the upper crust dives deeper, she struggles to keep the secret she’s been guarding for eighteen years.

Heavy lies the crown, and when the ultimate betrayal blindsides her, will either of them survive the consequences that come crashing down on their heads?

From the synopsis, I was excited to dig into this book, wanting to see what sort of ride Carrie Aarons would take me on with these characters and I wasn't disappointed.

Nora was a great character, a teenage girl who had led a pretty mundane and ordinary life until her mother was swept off her feet by a royal. Now she's living life quite differently, in a new country, surrounded by new people, new expectations, and a whole lot of new problems.  I loved how down to earth she was, a little naive about some things, but what else could you expect.

Asher was interesting too, bent on taking down Bennett McAllister, he sets his sights on the newest member of Bennett's family, and the one he can get closest too - Nora.  Asher has his reasons though, and I really did like him.

Privileged was such an great read.  I'm wowed by how it all came together and played out, the twists and turns, secrest and lies and everything in between. There's angst and drama, characters that will grab your attention, and a story that will leave you wanting more.  Though the story is YA, it was not boring but rather unique in its own way. A refreshing read for a summer day.
