Synopsis

Everly wasn’t excited over her impending meeting with the enigmatic Prince Sage.
Being one of only four women from whom the Prince gets to choose in marriage was
never something she valued. Her goal was to politely and elegantly remove herself
from a forced wedding due to long standing traditions. Handsome Prince or not, she
won’t marry for anything but love.

Once Sage proceeds to the next candidate, Everly finally feels she can move forward
with her life. On her own terms. That is, until she receives a mysterious request, asking
her to solve a riddle, taking her on a night she’ll never forget.

A fervent adventure ensues, and attraction builds as the excitement of the night
unfolds. Sparks fly in more ways than one just as she finds out who’s stealing her
heart.

Review

Sparks Fly was a fun twist on the Royal match love story. With characters who
are unique and feisty Lauren Runow takes us on quite and adventure to find that
sometimes Love does Conquer all.

Sage is not impressed with the rules imposed on him - finding himself in the
situation of picking a wife out of a very short 'approved' list is not at all what
he wants to be doing. He knows the type of woman he wants by his side and
he's highly doubtful he'll find her in this pool of options - except he does.
The girl he's seen for years and fantasized about knowing is option number three
and the moment he sets sight on her in person he's finished looking.
Too bad his Father, the King doesn't agree.
But Sage isn't one to give up easily and he's got a plan or two to find a way to
win over the girl and hopefully his father.

Everly has never been happy to be on the list of those eligible to wed Prince
Sage. Who wants to marry someone they don't know and probably wouldn't
even like if they did? Not her. No she knows what she wants from her life - but
to make her mother happy she's willing to attend the meeting with the
Royals - doesn't mean she's not going to attempt to be found unworthy.
But when the Prince arranges another meeting followed by more Everly
discovers that perhaps getting to know Sage isn't so bad and perhaps she'd
thought all wrong about the match that could be between them.

As these two get to know each other - sparks fly - in more than one way ;) and
what happens takes us on a Royal story full of angst, drama, and a little mayhem
of course. Sage and Everly won me over within pages and I was rooting for
them from the start. I loved how they both quickly realized that they'd been a
little wrong in their thinking of each other and realized there were feelings
there. But of course that realization is only the start of their battle and with
each decision they make and each cloud that hangs over them, I was sucked
in awaiting what would come next.

Sparks Fly is not your usual Royal love match and that was what made it all
the better to read.
