Favorite summer drink?
R.C.: Iced tea. By the gallons.
Ideal summer vacation?
R.C: Since I live on a lake, I prefer to stay home in summertime. But if I couldn’t be home, I’d love a
villa on Lake Como.
Go-to summer clothing item?
R.C.: I live in sandals and cotton pants with pockets.
If you were stuck on an island, what 3 items would you have to have?
RC: Books. Stacks and stacks of them. Earl Grey Tea! A giant wheel of Vermont Cheddar cheese!
What character in your new novel would you like to hang out with this summer and why?
R.C.: Mary Pat Healy, the social worker, nurse, teacher. What stories she could tell about her travels
around the county, and the amazing people she’s come to know!
