This book was such a fun but quick read, Emerson and Holden delivered quite the story.
I really liked Emerson for the most part, even though I didn't quite understand her family loyalty - well maybe I understood it mostly but still felt she deserved so much more. Which made it all the better when she met Holden and he took a hold of her.
Holden was such a good guy, a man bent on revenge, but also a man who recognized that there might be more to Emerson than he first thought. He was a complicated soul, and I really enjoyed watching him grow throughout this story.
Yates pulled all the pieces of this puzzle together in an enjoyable experience that not only grabbed my attention and held my heart captive, but delivered it all in a beautifully moving story.
