Behind My Words was the first book I've read from Drake and I have to say that it was a great start to what I hope is a continuing reader relationship. I was hooked on this story from page one, intrigued by Spencer and her past and of course the present as well.
Behind My Words was full of twists and turns, mystery, suspense, and angles I could never have imagined coming into play and yet I ran forward with each new piece of information, theories abounding in my mind and a fascination to figure it all out before the characters did.
I loved the themes within this book, the serial killer, the cop and the ghostwriter - not at all who you'd expect them to be nor their motivations and yet each little piece fit the overall picture building with each flip of the page.
This book had my heart racing, my head spinning, and occasionally made me hold my breath, and yet I couldn't put it down, I had to know what was next.
If you are looking for a suspenseful wild ride of a story to suck you in from the first word to the last, pick up your copy to day and enjoy the many twists you'll find among the pages.
