Catch Me When I Fall is book two in Jackson's Falling Stars series and it brings us the story of Emily and Royce.
Emily and Royce's first meeting is larger than a spark and the two find themselves lost in each other for a bit- until reality enters the equation again. From this first meeting on, I knew that we were going to take quite the journey with these two and I couldn't wait to dive straight into their story.
Emily's life has revolved around her band, but suddenly it's lost the thrill, somethings missing and she doesn't quite know what. I really enjoyed the way her emotions are portrayed through out this story, because it really made me feel like I knew who she was and could feel how lost she felt at times. I really liked watching her work through her pain, the past trying to find her groove again.
Royce, is also a man who's lost in emotions, though a slightly different set keeps him going. I was intrigued with Royce from moment one, and couldn't wait to learn more about him and see how his story played out.
Jackson does an amazing job of bringing this story to life and making these characters relatable and enjoyable. She delivered a wonderful blend of angst, emotions, romance, and even a touch of drama within the pages that kept me hooked until the very end.
