REVIEW
Fly With Me gives us the story of Noah aka Burn and Jordan, who meet in a random twist of fate while in Vegas. The chemistry between them sparks and they end up spending a lot of time together while in Vegas, but then it is time to part ways and head to their home bases.
Noah was a fabulous guy, he's funny, but also loyal and pretty steady, when the hits come, he might fall, but he won't stay down. He felt like he couldn't give all of himself to a woman, because flying owned him, but then he met Jordan and all of his thoughts about relationships began to change a bit. He's a man in uniform, so of course, he's hot, but I liked that he was a nice guy too, someone who you would want to get to know.
Jordan was a bit hard for me to get a read on at first. In Vegas to celebrate her sisters upcoming nuptials, to an ex of hers no less, Jordan sort of feels off-kilter. She doesn't really begrudge her sister's happiness, she just wishes for her own. I really liked how Jordan wasn't your standard romance heroine, and even when she irritated me with certain choices or actions, I still liked her and could understand why she did it.
I really enjoyed the emotional journey this story took me on, how each of these characters had their own obstacles to overcome. There was a deep realism to their story, which made it more relateable. I enjoyed how the side characters, Jordan's sister and friends, and Noah's team worked into the story, they added an additional layer of reality and offered more to the story.
Fly With Me has everything needed to entice readers, a hot pilot in uniform, a heroine for him to call his own, a bit of drama to make things a little difficult, settings that pull you right in to the story and a whole cast of other characters that hold your attention. I laughed with these characters, I got frustrated when things weren't going how I anticipated, and my heart went Boom.
I look forward to seeing more of Jordan and Noah in future books, and watching as the rest of the Wild Aces fall in love.
