REVIEW
I loved loved War and Baylee's story in the first two books of the War and Peace series, but my mind always wondered so many things, all about Gabe. What made him who he was, what his plans were for the future and how would they impact everyone, so to say I was waiting not-so-patiently for this book would be an understatement. To say K. Webster more than lived up to what I expected would also be an understatement.
This isn't Over, Baby was just as amazing as previous, just as twisted and wild of a ride, but also so fulfilling. We learned about Gabe, about his past, about his thoughts, about his feelings, we got to see things that made him tick, we got to see deep into his dark dark soul and mind and you know what, it actually wasn't what I expected. There was a lot behind Gabe and his actions, there was a lot to understand before you could "get" him, but man what a ride, what a journey.
K. Webster did not let me down with this book, she delivered an amazingly epic story about a man who wasn't loved, wasn't liked, didn't do things the way most would and yet made you care about him anyways. A dark twisted man who sucked you in and pulled you under and kept you right there, right in the middle of the chaos just questioning where you would be taken next.
I'm not going to post any spoils or detail much of anything from the book, because whole-heartedly I believe you need to experience this book, Gabe, in all his glory all on your own. You need to feel the pain, see the past, become a part of the man and live his life for just a moment, and then tell me how you could back away from the rest of the story, I couldn't.
I was hooked, word for word, line by line, page to page. Gabe's story isn't the normal, it isn't tied up all pretty with bows and shiny paper, but it will definitely grab you and hold you captive and make you fall in love.
