SYNOPSIS:
After years of solitude, Tish O’Malley made the mistake of assuming happiness was finally hers. But before she can relax her guard and enjoy her protective—albeit secretive—Sergeant at Arms, another selfish choice made by her unconscionable drug-addict mother brings about deadly consequences. With Rachel conveniently tucked away behind bars, her massive debt is laid at Tish’s feet.
Josh “The Guardian” Sylvan knew when he claimed his young queen, her well-being would become his life’s purpose. When her mother’s senseless idiocy brings his estranged father’s notorious club to town, to protect Tish, Josh must consider taking out a member of the Obsidian Devils MC. Can he risk it all? Jeopardize his brothers and their families as they stand at his back, preparing to fight this personal battle?
Everything changes when Josh discovers his and Tish’s love has produced the one thing that will bind her to his side forever. Only then does indecision flee, and possessive rage takes over.
Review
Blind Faith gives us the second part of Tish and Josh's love story - and what a wild ride it is. First and foremost this book gives us a deeper look into Josh's past and the hows and whys that make up who he is. He's had a rough life, suffering losses he shouldn't have had to and keeping a lot of it bottled up inside.
Josh is still keeping a few things from Tish and he knows he has to tell her those things, but he's afraid of how she'll react once she knows them.
Tish thought that with Josh out of Prison and them giving a real relationship a go that things in life would be great; that this was her time for happiness. But Happiness is a tad trickier than that - especially when there are things you don't know just waiting to pull you down.
Told in alternating POV's Blind Faith really sucks us deeper into the MC world set up in the series, while also showing us the growing and changing relationship between Josh and Tish. There are plenty of twists and turns, and of course there's danger lurking - but there's also an undeniable connection between Tish and Josh that keeps you rooting for them to find a way to figure it all out.
One of my favorite things about these two is that they sort of go against the grain of what you'd expect of them. Tish knows her place as an old lady - and she does allow Josh a lot of say in her life, but I felt like she didn't fully let go of control either. Josh can be possessive, protective - but he doesn't do so in a hugely jerk-off way and once his past is understood it is more plain why he's built that way.
While the main focus of the story is obviously Josh and Tish and the current issues they are facing, we get to see other members of the MC and of course more characters too. The story was woven together very well, giving the idea of the bonds between the guys and how they work with each other. I was constantly on guard, wondering when something was going to go wrong, what was going to happen next or even just waiting for the other shoe to drop.
I really enjoyed the journey these two took within the pages of this book, even when I wasn't exactly on board with certain parts - I understood the motives and could see how it fit the characters.
Nancy Haviland has woven and intriguing set of chracters within the members of the Steel Jackals, and I'm hoping to see more of them in future books.

SYNOPSIS:
Nineteen-year-old Tish O’Malley has loved Josh “The Guardian” Sylvan since she was a child. When her reticent hero returns to Queen Creek after serving a three-year prison term meant for her mother, Tish is through pretending this man nearly twice her age isn’t the only happiness she’s ever known. Will the viciously loyal Sergeant at Arms stand by his instant and brutal rejection of the woman Tish has become? Or will he give in and claim her as his young queen despite his best efforts to resist the one female who should never have made it on his radar? *PLEASE BE AWARE: Blind Devotion was formerly released in November 2015 as HIS YOUNG QUEEN by TIFF P. RAINE. It has been revised, given a new title and cover, but it hasn't been altered enough for any information to be missed if you don’t re-read before continuing with the books that will follow. This is the intro to the STEEL JACKALS MC series, and it’s in Tish O’Malley’s POV only. Hers and Josh’s story will continue in dual POV in BLIND FAITH, which is scheduled for release at the end of February 2017. **WARNING: Contains drug use, profanity, and explicit sexual situations. If you’re not comfortable with frequent use of the C-words or a demanding alpha biker fresh out of prison, please skip reading this book. +18
REVIEW
Blind Devotion is book one of Tish and Josh's story and it's quite a story. In the beginning of this book, we are given the jist of Tish's youth, how she grew up and how her life changed when her mother took her to live closer to her Uncle Nick. Told in Tish's POV, we learn about her life and her family and the one biker who's always been a part of it without, maybe, knowing how mucha part of her life he was.
When Josh went away to Prison, because of her Mother, Tish thought it was the worst thing ever, but she's worked through her pain over it. When she discovers Josh is out of prison early, she's decided she's going to put herself out there, either he'll want more with her or he won't but she's not going to hide her feelings anymore.
But Josh isn't sure about traveling that path with Tish, not because he doesn't care, but because he's not sure he's worthy of her really and there's still much left to be cleared up between them. But Josh can't turn her down once she's thrown herself at him again, and he's doing his best to go about it the right way.
Blind Devotion combines the MC trope with a bit of taboo romance because of their age differences and how Josh is connected to Tish's aunt. But beyond that, it is a story of genuine love and happiness found when that one person and you just click and work together. Tish has known for years what and who she wanted, it just took a little time to break down walls to get it.
Though at times, it feels as if things might be moving to fast, these two somehow make it seem to work; once they finally decide to give in to their feelings, there's no holding back. As Tish learns a few surprises about things Josh has done for her that she hadn't known before, they grow a bit closer and Josh isn't willing to give up his woman.
