REVIEW
I've said it before, but I'll say it again - one thing about K. Webster books is you just don't know what you are going to get. The synopsis is always enough to grab your interest and for you to form ideas about what is to come, but very rarely have I ever guessed exactly what I would be reading.
Notice is the same - though I expected wild, and unsusual per the warning, I had no clue exactly what I was in for, but I knew I wanted to keep reading.
Violet was a fun character, she's got a painful past and secrets but she's working hard towards having the life she wants, a life that she finds happiness in. But things start changing when she turns in her two weeks notice at work, it'll just take some time to realize what those changes will bring her life.
Gray has an unhealthy fascination sometimes, a growing obsession, with the latest fixation on a certain woman at work, the woman who's on her way out. But Gray's going to do everything he can to change her mind.
Notice was unexpected, but great. Gray had problems, and while I won't go into details I will say that though he wasn't your typical Joe - he wasn't necessarily a bad guy either. Violet was a strong woman who had vulnerabilities but tried to do her best to not cling to them. This story sucked me in from the start and held my attention leaving me to wonder what was going to happen next and if/when everyone would realize what was going on.
Notice was a quick read for me because I had to know what came next. Violet and Gray had a different kind of story - but one that worked for them.
