Maggie and Felix knew from the moment they met - that they had found the one - there was no denying it. Felix and Maggie have a lot in their past, a lot they've overcome and worked through, but now, in the present, with life so drastically changed, they'll have to work things out together to discover if Love really can endure everything. There are secrets between them, pain and struggle, but the love definitely still remains.
I really enjoyed the journey this story took me on, it was a combination of angsty, sweet, rage-inducing (Ha! - you'll understand when you read) and everything else. Felix and Maggie haven't had an easy time and though they love each other madly - there's a lot of other stuff going on. I was hooked from page one trying to work out all the details and rooting for them to figure it all out and find a way to put the past behind them and move on with their future as a family.
Ella Fields is a mother and wife who lives in the land Down Under. While her kids are in school, you might find her talking about her characters and books to her two cats. She's a notorious chocolate and notebook hoarder who enjoys creating hard-won happily ever afters.
