Hissy Fit is a tale of unrequited love - turned requited with a Lani Lynn Vale twist, which means not only did it suck me in, it held my attention and had me hooked from page one.  

I love how LLV takes a usual trope and gives it a special spin to make it more than expected.  As always there's swoony moments, a touch of drama, dashes of humor, and two characters who are compelling.  

Raleigh and Ezra's story was especially fun, they were both unique characters.  Raleigh was accident prone and cute in all her awkwardness.  She'd crushed hard on Ezra since high school, but he'd never noticed her - not even a little bit. Now that they are working at the same school together though he takes notice and things are not exactly smooth. Ezra was a good guy, a man who goes all in when he sees what he really wants, even though he has no clue about his history with Raleigh.  

Hissy Fit kicks off a new series, and I'm looking forward to seeing just who else gets stories in this series.
