Release Blitz: The Rebel of Raleigh High by Callie Hart

The Rebel of Raleigh High by Callie Hart

Silver

Hit me.
Kick me.
Hurt me.
Hate me.

There’s nothing that the students of Raleigh High can do to Silver Parisi anymore. Over the past year, she’s had to endure more pain and suffering than most people are asked to bear in their lifetimes. She’s a pariah, an outcast, a ghost. She’s also never been one to take shit lying down, though…despite what half the football team might say.

With only one hundred and sixty-eight days left of the school year, it won’t be long until graduation, and Silver’s planning on skipping town and leaving Raleigh firmly in her rearview mirror…

Until he comes along…

Alex

Orphan.
Degenerate.
Reprobate.
Deviant.
Alex Moretti’s earned most of his labels, and he’s not shamed of a single one of them. He’ll earn far worse before he’s finished with his new found ‘friends’ at Raleigh High. Having spent years being ground down under the boot heel of society, it’s time for a little payback. And if exacting a revenge upon the heads of the Raleigh elite means he can also help the beautiful girl who hovers in the shadows, then that’s all for the better.

Oil and water. Fire and ice. The differences between Silver and Alex are broader than any chasm. To reach one another, they must take a leap of faith and fall into the divide.

And falling?

Nothing good ever came from falling.

REview

I have a minor addiction to bully type storylines and I don't know why -- okay so I probably do.  Because I love all the twists and the turns they take me on, the love and hate and the what did I just read and why do I want more?! aspects.

So when I saw the synopsis for The Rebel of Raleigh High I knew it was going to be right up my alley and I wasn't wrong.  Hart delivers a crazy ride within the pages of this story.  Silver and Alex's story is dark and twisted and yet it also has elements of romance and a depth that allow you to see further into our characters.

With characters who will intrigue you as much as they piss you off you won't know what will come next, I couldn't wait to flip the page.  I'm not going to spoil the story as I believe it's best to dive in blind, but I'll say try to do this book justice without giving anything away.

Silver is counting down the days til graduation, the days until she can put the past and Raleigh High behind her. She's got her reasons and she's got her plans, but all of that changes when the new kid hits the building.  Alex has his own history and his own reasons for who he is.  His arrival at Raleigh High means things are about to go topsy turvy.

This book is dark, and though it takes place in high school it is most definitely not a YA book so please don't mistake it as such.  It has dark themes, it has unexpected twists, it'll take you on an emotional tailspin at times but all the while leave you wanting more.
