EXCLUSIVE EXCERPT:
Taking a step backward, I’m surprised when he reaches out, wrapping his hand around my hip and tugs me forward. I become off-balance and fall against his chest. Tipping my head back, I look up into his beautiful face. He’s that, too—downright gorgeous.
He doesn’t look like the rough and tumble men that he associates with. He’s clean shaven, his hair neat and always freshly cut. His body is out of this world with lean muscle stacked on lean muscle. He looks young, like a baby, but I know he’s less than three years younger than me, he’s thirty to my thirty-three.
I know that he’s been through hells that I could only imagine as a veteran. He’s seen things that I couldn’t even fathom, and yet, we’re cut from the same kind of cloth, just sewn together with different stitching. He wants me to come back to him, but I’m not willing to saddle him with the woman that I am for the rest of his life, he’s too good of a man, he doesn’t deserve that.
He thinks that me coming here for a few months is going to cure me, he keeps telling me that once I get my head on straight, we can move forward. He doesn’t understand my illness at all. He doesn’t understand that there is no better.
My head will never be straight. I will never be normal. I will always be this way, always, until the day that I die. I am crazy and although I’ve come to terms with that over the past eighteen years, I also know that I will never burden another human with the person that I am, at least not for a lifetime.
About the Author:
I was born and raised in a small farming town in California. I met my husband when I was 16 and he was 19. We married four years later and have two little boys! We lived in Oregon for a few years while he served in the US Coast Guard.
Texas is now where we call home, where our boots rest, and where we’re raising our two little boys and a chocolate lab named Optimus Prime.

Release Blitz: The Rebel of Raleigh High by Callie Hart
The Rebel of Raleigh High by Callie Hart
Silver
Hit me.
Kick me.
Hurt me.
Hate me.
There’s nothing that the students of Raleigh High can do to Silver Parisi anymore. Over the past year, she’s had to endure more pain and suffering than most people are asked to bear in their lifetimes. She’s a pariah, an outcast, a ghost. She’s also never been one to take shit lying down, though…despite what half the football team might say.
With only one hundred and sixty-eight days left of the school year, it won’t be long until graduation, and Silver’s planning on skipping town and leaving Raleigh firmly in her rearview mirror…
Until he comes along…
Alex
Orphan.
Degenerate.
Reprobate.
Deviant.
Alex Moretti’s earned most of his labels, and he’s not shamed of a single one of them. He’ll earn far worse before he’s finished with his new found ‘friends’ at Raleigh High. Having spent years being ground down under the boot heel of society, it’s time for a little payback. And if exacting a revenge upon the heads of the Raleigh elite means he can also help the beautiful girl who hovers in the shadows, then that’s all for the better.
Oil and water. Fire and ice. The differences between Silver and Alex are broader than any chasm. To reach one another, they must take a leap of faith and fall into the divide.
And falling?
Nothing good ever came from falling.
REview
I have a minor addiction to bully type storylines and I don't know why -- okay so I probably do. Because I love all the twists and the turns they take me on, the love and hate and the what did I just read and why do I want more?! aspects.
So when I saw the synopsis for The Rebel of Raleigh High I knew it was going to be right up my alley and I wasn't wrong. Hart delivers a crazy ride within the pages of this story. Silver and Alex's story is dark and twisted and yet it also has elements of romance and a depth that allow you to see further into our characters.
With characters who will intrigue you as much as they piss you off you won't know what will come next, I couldn't wait to flip the page. I'm not going to spoil the story as I believe it's best to dive in blind, but I'll say try to do this book justice without giving anything away.
Silver is counting down the days til graduation, the days until she can put the past and Raleigh High behind her. She's got her reasons and she's got her plans, but all of that changes when the new kid hits the building. Alex has his own history and his own reasons for who he is. His arrival at Raleigh High means things are about to go topsy turvy.
This book is dark, and though it takes place in high school it is most definitely not a YA book so please don't mistake it as such. It has dark themes, it has unexpected twists, it'll take you on an emotional tailspin at times but all the while leave you wanting more.

Blog Tour: Boss I love to Hate
Dear Mr. Brisken,
How do I hate you?
Let me count the ways.
>I hate your smug, sexy millionaire face.
>I hate your cocky, skirt chasing, playboy ways.
>I hate working as your secretary—but, I love the pay. It almost makes dealing with you worth it.
>I hate how my friends call you a BILF, when really BILK (Boss I’d like to kill) is more appropriate.
>I hate that I need you to be my date for my best friend’s wedding because my ex-boyfriend, the King of Heartbreakers, and his new busty blonde girlfriend will be in attendance.
>But mostly, I hate how once the charade is over, I might not hate you at all . . .it was so much easier when you were the Boss I Love To Hate
REVIEW
Boss I Love to Hate was a fun take on the enemies to lovers and Fake relationship tropes.
Brad and Sonia were very likable characters from the start and I really enjoyed their banter and working relationship before it turned more. Sonia was still hurting from her past relationship and I could see that she wasn't thinking about any kind of relationship with anyone and yet still her connection deepened with Brad. Brad had just discovered that he wanted more than his usual tricks with women, he wanted a steady, stable and real relationship. The fact that neither of these two realized how well they'd work together made their falling all the more fun.
Mia Kayla did an amazing job building up the relationship between these two and showing us all the reasons they should be together before they even figured it out themselves. The side characters of Brad's siblings and nieces just built on the story and added humor, a little drama and extra depth to Brad's character.

Blog Tour: All We Are by Elisabeth Grace & Michelle Lynn
Coming face-to-face with my
past changes EVERYTHING.
I’m at the top of my game. All my struggles have finally paid off. Life should be great.
I mean, life is great.
Except for the fact that I can’t stop thinking of her. The woman who mangled my heart into a bloody pulp and never looked back.
If I could free myself of our shared memories, my future would be golden.
There’s only one way to move on—I have to confront the past, so I can move into the next chapter of my life in peace. Which means confronting her for the final time.
I had no idea that knocking on her door that day would turn my life upside down.

REVIEW
All We Are is the second book in the Ex-Factor Duet, you must have read book one to understand this book so please don't think of trying to start here.
I'm not going to go into a lot of the specifics of the story, as I'm not a spoiler and don't want to ruin anything. Instead I'll just say that the authors had a few surprises for me in store with this installment, and I couldn't have loved it any more than I did.
Lilah and Jimmy stole my heart in book one, so I was anxious to see what would come in the rest of their story. There's a lot of growth within these pages, a lot of depth covered, and I felt like maybe I understood these characters a little more. While book one took me on a real angst coaster, book two took me on a different journey, but one no less inviting and enjoyable.
All We Are was a fitting conclusion to Jimmy and Lilah's story, one filled with emotions, swoons, and a love you can feel.
*I was given an early copy of this book but my thoughts and this review are mine*
I’ve done things I can never undo.
No matter how much I wish I could, sometimes the wounds I inflict are too deep, too catastrophic, too septic to heal.
As I look into the eyes of the only man I’ve ever loved I know I’ve gone too far. I’ve finally crossed the line.
Even if he knew my reason for doing this, he’d never forgive me.
He always puts my needs before his own.
Now it’s my turn to protect him.
None of that matters though because the betrayal and disgust in his eyes comes from deep within his soul. There’s no coming back from this.
He will forever be tormented by what he’s seen, and he will never forgive me.
The last fragment of my heart to hold out hope that we’d share a future, withers and dies.

From New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Susan Stoker, comes RESCUING MACIE, a passionate and thrilling novella from the Delta Force Heroes Series, brought to you by 1,001 Dark Nights! Grab your copy today!
About RESCUING MACIE:
From New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Susan Stoker comes a new story in her Delta Force Heroes series…
After years of estrangement, Mercedes Laughlin has finally reconciled with her older brother. It should be the happiest time of her life, getting to know Truck and his new wife…and it would be, if an ex wasn’t causing her trouble. Add in Truck’s boss, Colonel Colton Robinson, an amazingly distracting man whom she met under embarrassing circumstances, and Macie’s got a bit more on her plate than she can handle.
From the moment they met, Colt was fascinated by Macie, and helping her through an anxiety attack at her brother’s wedding didn’t diminish the appeal. He’d do his best to sweep her off her feet, if not for a little voice telling him to tread lightly—until a frantic phone call changes the plan. Macie’s being targeted, and Colt’s determined to keep her safe while he and her brother eliminate the threat.
Colt isn’t about to let his friend lose his sister again so soon…or miss his own chance at a happy ending with Macie before they’ve barely had a beginning.
**Every 1001 Dark Nights novella is a standalone story. For new readers, it’s an introduction to an author’s world. And for fans, it’s a bonus book in the author’s series. We hope you'll enjoy each one as much as we do.**

EXCERPT
“Everything good?” he asked.
Macie nodded.
“No, Macie,” he said as he put a hand on the side of her neck and leaned in. “Are you good?”
She couldn’t help the small smile that broke out. “I’m good,” she told him. “Really. I liked them. Annie is hysterical, and I loved getting to know Emily and Casey more.”
“And Mary? Did she behave?”
Macie must’ve hesitated a moment too long, because Colt sighed and pulled back. He reached for her hand and pulled her into the living room. He sat on the couch and tugged Macie down onto his lap. He put his arms around her waist and held her firmly.
Macie stared at him in shock. They’d slept curled up next to each other every night, and Colt never hesitated to touch her, to caress her cheek or run a hand over her hair. But he’d never simply hauled her around before—at least, not since the night of the break-in—and she hadn’t sat on anyone’s lap since she was five years old.
Not sure where to put her hands, she rested them in her lap awkwardly.
“What’d she say?” Colt asked.
“Nothing.”
“Mace,” he said more gently. “I can tell she said something. I mean, it’s Mary, she can’t help herself, it’s part of her charm.” He smiled. “Now tell me, so I can reassure you about whatever it was, and then I’ll go get us some dinner. I’m hungry.”
It was the last bit that made Macie change her mind about telling him. She had a feeling he would sit there all night if she didn’t spill. He was that stubborn. But his stubbornness was one of the many reasons she was crazy about him.
Pushing those feelings to the back of her mind, refusing to think about them right now, she said, “I’m sure she was exaggerating, or that she simply doesn’t know the truth.”
“About what?”
Taking a deep breath, Macie said, “She was just trying to make sure I knew what this was. What was happening here. And she told me about you killing a bunch of people when your friend was captured.”
She felt Colt’s thigh muscles tense under her butt, and it seemed as if the air in the room thickened with emotion.
Oh shit. Why had she told him? She should’ve made something up. She was such an idiot! Now he was going to tell her she couldn’t stay at his house anymore, that he couldn’t help her. She should’ve kept her big mouth shut!
