Title: Step-Lover
Author: Bella Jewel
Release Date: March 9, 2015
Synopsis
A STEPBROTHER ROMANCE
Intended for mature audiences only
I met him before I knew.
I loved him before I knew.
I didn’t know he was my stepbrother when I fell for Bladen. I fell for a mystery guy who I spent a long, amazing weekend with. Then he got up and left me, without even a goodbye. I was nothing more than a bit of fun.
He broke my heart.
I didn’t see him again.
Until my mom and her new husband, Jack, decide to take us all on a family vacation to the lake so I can meet my new stepbrothers for the first time.
I don’t see it coming.
When he gets out of that car, my world stops. My passionate lover is…my stepbrother.
He isn’t the same man. He’s a prick and he makes sure I know it.
I’m not the same woman. I’m in love with him and I very much plan to make sure he knows it.
He won’t make my life easy. I won’t give up.

My Review:
Imagine you meet someone and fall in love but then something happens and they are gone. Only a year later to turn around and discover through some cruel twist, they are now your step-sibling. How would you react? What would you do? Well that's the situation Aria and Bladen find themselves in.
Step-Lover was quite a take on the step-sibling relationship twist. For half of the book, the characters are doing their best to stay away from each other not wanting to cause problems with the family, the other half, they can't stay away and say screw what everyone else thinks. I enjoyed the book as a whole, because it definitely kept me guessing on a would they/wouldn't they basis. Though at times I did want to smack both Bladen and Aria, their actions were understandable on some levels.
The fact that they had met and fallen in love prior to this new status as step-siblings definitely helped me root for them to work things out and figure out how to explain to everyone else.
I'm looking forward to the next book about Bladen's brother.
