Release Blitz & Review: Tempting by Alex Lucian

His body climbing over mine.

My teeth biting his neck.

His scent on my skin.

My nails carving a path down his back.

His commands whispered in my ear.

All of my senses filled with him.

I knew it was bad. But I craved more.

It had begun innocently enough, bumping into one another in a crowded Boston bar. What followed that night had been anything but innocent.

Because I'd known, even as he'd slid inside of me, that he was my professor. I'd pursued him, a predator stalking its prey.

And he didn't know I was his student.

What an amazing Debut Tempting is.  It is deliciously wicked and downright saucy.

I Love tales of forbidden love, there's just an extra layer of interest that pulls you in, when the stakes are high.  So just in reading the synopsis, I knew I wanted in.  I was not at all let down.

Tempting is full of gloriously HOT encounters, but also has a heck of a real story lying underneath that and behind the masks both Nathan and Adele wear.

Adele was a complicated character, not in the sense that she was hard to read, but because she had so much going on.  She was looking for love and acceptance anywhere she could, but it was completely different where Nathan was concerned.

Nathan was hurting, mostly himself, over guilt. He refused to allow himself any real happiness and the ability to move on from his past.  That all changed the moment he met a girl who refused to take No for an answer.

Tempting was provacative and lured me in with the forbidden aspect of a relationship between these two characters; a teacher and a student. But more than that, there was a deep underlying story for each character that was very emotional.  As we delved deeper into their pasts and discovered the reasons they ticked, it was plainer to see that this relationship that shouldn't be, was more than perfect for them.

I loved the struggle against the relationship and the arguments they had over it. Nathan and Adele both made seriously valid points, but overall, one thing was clear: Neither one could walk away.

Tempting held me rapt, looking forward to what was coming next and feeling deeply for each of the characters. I look forward to more books from Alex Lucian, especially more about Nathan and Adele.
