An Unforgivable Love Story is a unique story, unique in that I've never quite read a book such as it, and I love that BL Berry makes no apologies for her story or anything it contains. This story is hard to review, especially hard for me, because I don't want to give away any spoilers. I'm not sure I can truly sum up my feelings on this book into a review, I'm not sure I can express how I feel about the whole of it.

At first, I wasn't sure I would finish reading, there were so many times I just said oh man, I'm so done, but the writing kept me coming back, even when I didn't like what was going on in the story itself, the beauty of the words, sucked me back in.

Elyse has suffered for love in the past, the man she put all her faith and love into, took it away from her and left her practically at the alter in a huge betrayal. As such, she's been off men ever since, but a chacne encounter has her slowly moving back into the relationship world. Simon's got his own past, his own secrets, but he can't stay away from Elyse.

I'll be honest, Simon set off my radar from the start, there was just something about him that I didn't trust, and I wasn't sure why, but that feeling grew with each part I read. He was a likeable guy in other respects but there was just the lingering feeling.

This book has a lot of twists and turns, some I expected, some I did not, but each will tug on you in some way, some emotional hit. The characters are very real, their story told in such a way that you feel it through and through and maybe you see both sides, but its hard to grasp it all. This book is one that people will be talking about for a while, love it or hate it, it will suck you in and draw you into the middle and leave you with feelings. Perhaps confused feelings like mine, or perhaps you will find yourself picking a 'side'.
