In Nashville, country stars are a dime a dozen.
I swore I’d never get caught up with one, but Boone Thrasher made a liar out of me.
I said I’d never put my heart on the line, but he didn’t ask before he stole it.
Now we’re facing my worst fears, and we'll see if this country boy is tough enough to see it through.
Girls like me don’t get happily ever afters… but maybe he’ll prove that wrong too.

Review
Real Sexy brings us the second half of Boone and Ripley's story and what a thrilling story it is. We left off last book in a not so good place, and this book picks us right back at the same time. Boone is in a bind, and Ripley's unsure of how to fix it. But nothing can go easy for these two, as evidenced by life, so of course there is a bit of added drama.
The connection between Ripley and Boone is palpable through both books, but they've each been through so much that it's a little hard for them to believe in it at times. Boone comes around to knowing exactly what he wants out of their relationship before Ripley does which means we get to watch him work it so she figures out how serious he is.
We also dive deeper into Ripley's painful past, seeing the cracks in her family life and how the loss of her mother has affected every part of her life. Secrets are revealed, more pain is broken loose, and thorugh it all Ripley finds that Boone stands with her.
Real Sexy is an action packed romantic read. With comedic moments sprinkled in amongst the more serious ones, this book had a little bit of everything. If you like steam - it's there, if you like feeling - that's there too, and if you like a love story that sucks you in and keeps you believing - well you're covered. The characters will grab and hold your attention and heart, the story will keep you guessing, and the Love will win you over.
I have everything a guy could want—a new single burning up the charts, more money than a simple country boy could spend, and a woman I’m planning to marry. Until she doesn’t show up for my proposal. The life I thought was so perfect, isn’t. The guy who thought he had everything, doesn’t. I’ve got my heart on lockdown, but life sends me straight into the path of a mouthy bartender who puts me in my place. Now the only place I want to put her is under me. I thought I was done with love, but maybe I’m just getting started.
