Synopsis
Confession #1: I used to be a puck bunny, but after a hockey player broke my heart, I gave up all things hockey. Now I'm just focused on finding a way to pass my math class so I can graduate college.
Confession #2: Ryder "Ox" Maddox's deep, sexy voice sends fuzzy tingles through my entire body, and I'm powerless to stop it. Which is a big problem since the hot, surprisingly funny hockey player is my new math tutor.
Confession #3: I can't stop thinking about how ripped Ryder is from all his hockey training, and how fun it'd be to cross lines with him.
Confession #4: I kissed a hockey player and I liked it.
Confession #5: If I'm not careful, I might relapse and fall for Ryder, and then I'll be totally pucked.

REVIEW
Firstly I want to say that one of my favorite things about sports romance is that there is never a shortage of drama, romance, and characters to get hooked on. This book was no different in that regard, but was quite unique in its own ways too.
Take one former puck bunny trying to reform herself and work towards a stable future, throw in a newer hockey player who takes a liking towards her, add in a lot of humor, a bit of drama, and a sizable amount of chemistry and you've got all the makings of a winning book, at least in my opinion.
Lindsay was a compelling character - she's sassy, she's smart, unafraid to admit her faults, focused, determined and so much more. Digging deep into her relationship with her mother and how she's determined to not follow into her footsteps gives us more than a hint of her reasoning for avoiding hockey players. I really enjoyed watching as she worked through her feelings for Ryder.
Ryder - I admit I feel for him from the start - He's hot, he's a good player, he can math, and he wants to earn friendship and more from Lindsay rather than feeling as if she owes it to him because he's a hockey star. He's got his own family drama that he handles daily. I loved Ryder's seriousness in his wooing of Lindsay but also that he didn't try to push to hard or to much. He didn't want to hurt her in anyway, but he also didn't want to give her up without giving it a chance between them.
As Ryder helps Lindsay with her math and the two get to know each other a friendship forms quickly with a powerful chemistry and tons of sexual tension between them. As both work through their feelings and find themselves growing closer, it was easy to see that friendship becoming more, but also to wonder if the change would go easy or not.
This story brings us a bit of everything; humor, romance, drama, action, and friendship, both between the main characters and their companions - side characters from previous books in the series. Using each element, Cindi Madsen delivers a story that hooked me from the start, had me rooting for the characters, and had me craving more before I even finished the book.

About the Author
USA Today Bestselling author Cindi Madsen sits at her computer every chance she gets, plotting, revising, and falling in love with her characters. Sometimes it makes her a crazy person. Without it, she'd be even crazier. She has way too many shoes but can always find a reason to buy a new pretty pair, especially if they're sparkly, colorful, or super tall. She loves music, dancing, and wishes summer lasted all year long. She lives in Colorado (where summer is most definitely NOT all year long) with her husband and three children.Connect with Cindi
