Full Blurb

I’m an animal, a member of the Sin City Outlaws motorcycle club that isn't capable of human compassion. So I’ve been told anyway.
Raven is my club’s prisoner. I’ve been ordered to break her. It should be easy given my violent history. But being this close to a woman—this woman—for the first time in a long time, is like sharing company with the demon Lilith herself.
She’s my perfect toy. Filled with a dark rage. Blessed with perfected beauty. Sinfully sweet and wickedly divine. Everything about her solicits the demons inside me
I want to hear her screams. I want those big, dark eyes looking up at me—silently begging me for mercy. I want to be her heaven…and her hell.
My desire for her is forbidden. My infatuation is illicit. I’m betraying my club.
And if the wage of my sin is death, then this woman is going to get me killed.

EXCERPT
“Kill me?” she whispers, her fingertips caressing my cheek. I want to push my body onto her, and feel her warmth against my skin one more time before I take her life and her body cools. I’m going to enjoy her. She’s dark and twisted.
I smile and bend down to get closer to her. Running my hand through her soft black hair I pet her, brushing her loose hairs away from her face. Fuck, I’m excited to play with her, hear her scream and watch her fear me. To quickly kill someone as pretty and smart as her would be a goddamn waste. Like breaking a toy before you got a chance to play with it, this needs to be done slowly.

“Oh no sweetheart, the fun is just about to start,” I threaten in a low whisper.

Something dark passes over her face, but she doesn’t break eye contact. It’s almost as if she sobers completely.

Suddenly a foot strikes me in the chest and I sail into the side of the van.

REVIEW

Illicit is the long awaited story of Raven and Machete and it was superb.

Raven's not what most would consider a good person, she's got lots of flaws, she's made lots of mistakes, but also - she's got one heck of a history and that's blinded her to a lot of truths. When she finally starts seeing those truths for what they are and realizes just how messed up some of those choices were, she also knows the kind of trouble she's really in.

Machete can't wait to get his hands on Raven, to do his worst and pull out information they need from her. But then his feelings are confusing and he finds himself wanted to protect her isntead of harm her. Wanting to comfort her after harming her. All of the feelings are twisting in his mind and he's lost as to why.  He doesn't want to feel anything for a woman again, that path has never led him to a good place, but he can't turn away from Raven.

Illicit is a mind blowing twisty turn road for Raven and Machete. Their journey together is rough, emotional, and dark at times, but through it all, they've found something in each other that just works; like they were made for each other.  But there's a lot standing in the way of any kind of real happiness for them - namely Raven's past and Machete's club members. With betrayal looming, Machete finds himself in a bad position - letting go of the wild passion he's found between himself and Raven or risk issues between him and his club, his family.

I love the world M.N. Forgy has delivered us in all of the novels of the Sin City Outlaws series, it's a fresh and unique twist to most MC books, but full of characters that grab your attention, tug your heart strings and make you feel. And by feel I mean a bit of everything, rage, love, compassion, annoyance, and even sometimes camraderie or relatability. I love how this book delivered a powerful journey for Raven, a deeper understanding of how she was a pawn and made decisions for the wrong reasons, how she needed to find a way to change her path - and how the twisted connection she found with Machete set her up for that understanding.   I loved the dichotomy at play with Machete and his need to avenge his club but also see to the confusing attraction to Raven.

Grab your copy of Illicit to find out if this forbidden connection, this unexpected attraction can lead to anything but trouble.  Will Raven and Machete find a way together or will they both find themselves in the crosshairs?

M.N. Forgy was raised in Missouri where she still lives with her family. She's a soccer mom by day and a saucy writer by night. M.N. Forgy started writing at a young age but never took it seriously until years later, as a stay-at-home mom, she opened her laptop and started writing again. As a role model for her children, she felt she couldn't live with the "what if" anymore and finally took a chance on her character's story. So, with her glass of wine in hand and a stray Barbie sharing her seat, she continues to create and please her fans.
