Unruly is the third book revolving around Cross and Catherine and their topsy turvy twisty road together. With each book, we've watched them grow and change, find themselves and their place in the world and with each other.
In this final chapter of their story - we see them as parents to their own beautiful daughter - and just as I expected - Cross was an amazing father. Cross and Catherine have both been through a lot, their journey together wasn't easy or smooth - but what it was was chock full of an undeniable love, an immesurable connection. This book was the culmination of everything they've been through, every hurt from the past, every struggle in the future, it all combines to show the winning team these two make and how their love is undying.
Unruly holds true to the fashion of the other stories in giving us the suspense, the air of danger and mystery expected from a mafia novel - but there's also all the love and the swoony moments too. There's a touch of angst, a little laughter, sweet and tender all rolled up with these characters and their daily lives. This might be my favorite book yet from Bethany-Kris.
