About The Fixer: He’s known only as Wren. A wealthy, dangerously secretive man, he specializes in making problems disappear. Emery’s job is to find them and bring closure. Wren is the only person who can help solve Emery’s own personal mystery: the long-ago disappearance of her cousin. Just tracking down the sexy, brooding Wren is difficult enough. Resisting her body’s response to him will prove completely impossible. Anonymity is essential to Wren’s success, yet drawn by Emery’s loyalty and sensuality, he’s pulled out of the shadows. But her digging is getting noticed by the wrong people. And as the clues start to point to someone terrifyingly close, Wren will have to put his haunted past aside to protect the woman he loves.

REVIEW
From the first pages, we get sucked into the suspenseful nature of this book, the mysterious feel about the characters and what they are looking for. Right from the first pages, I knew I was in for quite a story, and I couldn't help but want to dig in further and discover it all.
Emery's been asking questions, trying to find answers that can lead her to information into the disappearance of her cousin, Tiffany. On the trail of a new lead, Emery's looking for a mysterious Wren, hoping to find answers that can lead her to discovering the truth, but her questions are being noticed, and not everyone is happy about her nosing around. But Emery's job is to find the missing, the lost, and to discover what happened and hopefully bring closure to those closest to them. This case is more personal and she's determined to see it through.
Wren is a man who gives the mystery vibe well, He's that man you see and though you don't know him, you just know he's hiding things, he's got secrets and there's an air of danger around him. Wren like his secrecy, he likes being an unknown quantity and he doesn't need the trouble Emery's questions about him can bring, so he wants to shut it down fast, if only there wasn't that nagging pull to her.
One of my favorite things about this book was the interactions between Wren and Emery, there was a level of banter there, but also something more. Emery was a strong heroine, determined to get her answers and solve her case, but she was also smart and independent. While she had no problem accepting help, she was not going to be controlled. I really liked Wren, I liked not knowing everything about him at the start, that really sucked me into this character and left me pondering the whys of him and all the rest.
The Fixer has just enough of the mystery/suspense element to hold your mind captive while trying to piece it together all while watching Emery and Wren fight their feelings and trying to figure out their relationship. I really enjoyed the clues and hints that brought suspects to mind leaving my mind to work through the puzzle and try to come up with the answers myself.
