The last time I saw my best friend’s younger brother, he was a geek wearing braces. But when Cannon shows up to crash in my spare room, I get a swift reality check. Now twenty-four, he’s broad shouldered and masculine, and so sinfully sexy, I want to climb him like the jungle gyms we used to enjoy. At six-foot-something with lean muscles hiding under his T-shirt, a deep sexy voice, and full lips that pull into a smirk when he studies me, he’s pure temptation. Fresh out of a messy breakup, he doesn’t want any entanglements. But I can resist, right? I’m holding strong until the third night of our new arrangement when we get drunk and he confesses his biggest secret of all: he’s cursed when it comes to sex. Apparently he’s a god in bed, and women instantly fall in love with him. I’m calling bullshit. In fact, I’m going to prove him wrong, and if I rack up a few much-needed orgasms in the process, all the better. There’s no way I’m going to fall in love with Cannon. But once we start…I realize betting against him may have been the biggest mistake of my life.

Review
If you are looking for a hilarious romance book, look no further than this one.
The Room Mate is everything I love about a good RomCom. The perfect characters, tons of laughs, sexual chemistry that sizzles, and of course all the reasons in the world to avoid someone and all the desire NOT to.
When Cannon's crazy ex destroys his place yet again, he's not sure what to do about a living situation for the remainder of his time before residency. But Big sister to the rescue, as she calls in a favor to a friend, that friend being the HOTTIE Cannon remembers as her best friend. But Cannon's decided he's off women until his career is set. No more crazies, no more sex, no more women. To bad fate's decided to torture him.
Paige lets herself be talked into allowing Cannon to room with her, even though she has her reservations and those increase the moment he shows up and she realizes HOW he's grown up. She feels an instant attraction to him and isn't sure how to make a roomie situation work without that getting in the way.
I loved the playful side to Cannon, but that he's also got a serious side and is dedicated to making something out of himself. I loved how he interacted with Paige from the start, banter, sexual taunts, and more. It all built up the tension and showed the power of their chemistry.
The Room Mate was a wild ride, that had me laughing, swooning, and of course sometimes a little bit wanting to yell at the pages when things were happening. I loved the chemistry between these two and the strong pull that was present and the hilarity that ensued as they both tried to equally push away from that connection and wanted to pull closer.
