Benson Bayou Beauregard is the president of the Bear Bottom Guardians MC, and the grandson of the Sergeant at Arms for the Dixie Wardens MC. He’s a mountain of a man and the warden of a prison, and there’s only one thing that can scare him—being told that he’s the father of a three-year-old little girl.
A three-year-old little girl that has no clue who he is. Hell, he only finds out about the little cherub when a woman from child protective services comes by and rocks his world before leaving the girl in his shocked arms.
Every single thing he thinks he knows goes up in a cloud of smoke.
To make matters worse, the woman that he’s been trying to convince to give him a chance takes one look at the little girl and tells him that he’s just not in the right place to handle both of them.
But Bayou was never one to back down from a challenge.
He can handle a three-year-old girl that acts exactly like him, and he can more than take on the fiery red-head that sets flame to his blood while he’s at it.

REVIEW
I have been anticipating Bayou's book for a while and I couldn't wait to dive into my ARC copy as soon as I could. As always happens with Vale's books, I was sucked right in and devoured it all in one sitting.
Bayou is not anything like your usual man, he's got his quirks but he's still strong, alpha and determined. Once he sets his mind to something - he follows through - no matter what it takes and I really enjoyed watching how all of that played out in this story.
It was great to see Phoebe get her love story and as always see her family in action yet again as they always add a flair of well drama, humor, all of the above. I really enjoyed seeing another side to Phoebe and really getting to know her and see the woman she is. She was definitely a fun heroine and I really enjoyed her interactions with not only Bayou but also his surprise daughter.
One Chance, Fancy truly pulled me in from page one, kept me intrigued about how things would play out as Phoebe and Bayou found love together and seeing how things worked out with his daughter. As with most of the stories in this series, there is a great balance of mystery and romance, a blend of family and friends and their roles in both of the characters lives pulling me in much further to the story because I have known and loved these characters for a long time and I feel like part of the circle.
