My Review:
Okay. I have to admit, I fell in love with Trihn in Emeralds, before that I was sort of curious but not OMG I need her story. And then we got Emeralds and learned so much about her and I got it. I knew more about Trihn that I did before and I couldn't wait for her to get her own full story. And K.A. Linde did not let me down one bit.
Platinum is another amazing novel in the All that Glitters series, but I think it might have eked out to be my favorite.
Trihn has been through a lot in her life. She's suffered from love and in some ways suffered for love and she's sort of promised herself she'd never do it again. So she changes who she is, she's tried to stick to relationships she deems safe, but unfortunately even those aren't all that safe for the heart. When her latest relationship blows up, Trihn decides she's going to rebound with sexy DJ Damon. But Damon's not exactly keen on being just a rebound.
First of all, Damon -- HOT, and imagining a British accent, yes please, I'll take one to go. I really liked Damon's tenacity. He wasn't egotistical, but he was intent to prove himself and also prove to Trihn that good guys do exist and love doesn't have to equal pain.
The interactions between these two captivated me and kept me reading, but I was also almost waiting for the other shoe to drop. Damon was very understanding at times, he knew just how to handle Trihn and her worries/fears. Trihn's insecurities are very well written adn completely understandable, I was glad to see them written so well.
Trihn was given a wonderful man in Damon and her story was beautiful and sweet, but also realistic to her situation of past lovers.
