Prisoned is not at all what I expected, but it was so much better. The story sucks you in, keeping you guessing what the secret is and who is behind it all. It's full of twists and turns you don't expect and that further build up the suspense and keep adding questions and motives to your mind.

Kyle grew up a poor girl in the projects known as the Heart, she didn't have a lot, but what she did have usually came from one of her two best friends, Billy and Garin. But when a tragedy occured, it divided them for reasons she's never shared. Kyle's been hiding a secret, a betraying secret for years, and not only did it tear her away from those she loved, but it's affected her every day life. When she gets notice that her childhood friend Billy has die, Kyle knows she has to go back. Back to the place that was home for so long, but she never wanted to return. Not only that, she'll have to face Garin, and continue the lies between them.

Garin is hurting, hurting from the loss of his best friend and the memory of what he lost when Kyle dropped his friendship like it had been nothing. Garin's got his own secrets and his own battles he's facing, but one thing he's determined to do is get to the bottom of what happened with Kyle. He wants to know why she left and how it affects him. Garin's determined to get his answers no matter how he has to do it.
