He's a wolf where it counts—in his heart and in her bed.
Salvation Pack, Book 7
Exiled from her wolf pack for rejecting her parents' choice for a mate, Rina Matheson has been on her own for over a year. Now she's running for her life from a man who knows what she is and is obsessed with hunting her down.
Sage Gallagher—organic farmer, half-breed werewolf, and member of the Salvation Pack—finds more than a lost hiker while camping in the Great Smoky Mountains. So much more. Instant attraction slams through him with knee-buckling power the minute he sees Rina. His first instinct is to get her home where he and his pack can protect her.
Rina doesn't trust easily. Especially not half-breeds, who she was raised to consider abominations. But Sage's quiet strength calls to her lonely soul, and amazingly enough, her wolf responds. As he slowly works his way past her guard, she is soon in danger of losing her heart—even as danger draws closer to taking her life.
Warning: Your heart is in danger of being lost to one very special half-breed werewolf.

REVIEW
Wolf in His Heart pulls you into the action right away. Rina, a lone female werewolf is being chased by a human stalker, a man who has figured out her secret and wants her for his own. While running from her tracker, Rina finds herself in the camp site of half-breed Sage. Sage immediately feels a connection to the wolf and wants to help her, so he tricks her and takes her deep into the heart of his pack.
Rina isn't trusting, she's been hurt by her own pack, left alone for a long time, struggling to make it on her own while feeling betrayed and abandoned by those she thought would always be there for her. When she discovers Sage has taken her to his pack, rather than the bus station she requested, she's not sure what to do. But the pack quickly welcomes her and shows her how things can be different.
There's a definite attraction and chemistry between Rina and Sage, but they also have lots to work through. Rina's safety comes first and foremost, and Sage tries to show her that she's better off staying right where she is until the trouble passes. But the longer she stays, the closer they grow and Rina's not so sure what she wants anymore.
Wolf in His Heart was a quick read, but it wasn't lacking for heat or drama. The story sucked you in and showed you what it was for an outsider to see the makings of a great pack, one who accepts everyone, all of its members, for who they are and what they do for the pack. The bonds between the members in the pack are visible even before you hear their stories. Rina and Sage's bond comes natural and it made sense they'd fall for each other.

About N.J. Walters
Once upon a time N.J. had the idea that she would like to quit her job at the bookstore, sell everything she owned, leave her hometown, and write romance novels in a place where no one knew her. And she did. Two years later, she went back to the bookstore and her hometown and settled in for another seven years.
One day she gave notice at her job on a Friday morning. On Sunday afternoon, she received a tentative acceptance for her first erotic romance novel and life would never be the same.
N.J. has always been a voracious reader, and now she spends her days writing novels of her own. Vampires, werewolves, dragons, time-travelers, seductive handymen, and next-door neighbors with smoldering good looks—all vie for her attention. It's a tough life, but someone's got to live it.
