He’s looking for redemption.

After destroying his reputation, Jason Friar is desperate to make a comeback in Major League Baseball. The only team who will have him is the perennial cellar dwellers, the Georgia Knights, who are looking for a leader for their struggling team. With the contract comes a leash, held by a sexy image consultant with whom he had a hot fling...

She’s looking for respect.

After being blamed for the collapse of a political candidate’s campaign, Stacia Kendall needs a new opportunity to prove herself to her father, a prominent and powerful Senator. Her one chance is to redeem the image of Jason Friar and not succumb to the heat simmering between them, a heat she knows so well...

Can Stacia help Jason find the redemption he needs, while protecting her heart?

Stacia propped herself up on one arm and feasted on his flesh laid out for her. She ran her finger down the chest she had explored so thoroughly but had not seen. He lay still, muscles quivering under her light then deeper touch as she learned him, how and where he liked to be handled. A sense of power filled her, heightening her desire. She slid her hand lower, to the jeans sporting an impressive bulge. "That has to be uncomfortable."
His face contorted, muscles clenched. "Baby, you have no idea. Care to help me out of them?"
She hesitated. This was her last chance to turn back, to stop this madness. But he was a drug in her blood, singing and pulling her along to the dark side. And God help her, she wanted him. For once, she wanted to do what she wanted and be damned the consequences. She tugged at the button and opened it, releasing his erection. It sprang free, above the undone clasp.
She cocked an eyebrow at him. "Commando? Doesn't that hurt?"
He grinned and shrugged. "Underwear is too constricting."
"Thank God for that." She returned her attention to his cock, tentatively stroking him lightly. He groaned in response as it jerked. She laughed and renewed her attentions, running her fingers lightly up and down, then harder, rubbing the drop of pre-come at the tip over the wide, dark head.
After a few seconds, Jason grabbed her hand and slid out from under her, shucking his jeans in a smooth, practiced motion. He returned to the bed, pinning her, kissing her with a stronger urgency, more insistent. Her passion rose to a fever pitch.

Stacia is in a rough spot, she's made her father mad again for not following his instructions and doing as he says. She's taken some manor of control over her life and refuses to fall into his line, and as such he's determined to force her out of her job, blaming the loss of his perfect candidate's place on her lack of control over said candidate.  Stacia is upset over the loss and concerned about her future when she goes out for a drink with a friend and decides to throw caution to the wind and live a little wild for a change by hooking up with the hottie in the bar.

Jason is also in a tight spot, with a damaged reputation, his one last chance at a career in ball is with an almost no name team, but it won't come easy.  The night before he's set to meet with them to discuss taking a position on the team, Jason finds himself falling back into previous bad deeds and hooking up with a woman who leaves him before he wakes.  When the team proposes a 'babysitter' for Jason to clean his image and keep it clean, he knows just the person he wants for the job.

Going All the Way was a sweet and often humorous tale of romance between two opposites.  The chemistry was off the charts and the sex scenes steamy.  They both had their own personal issues to work through and that sometimes seemed to take over  more than their building feelings for each other. Getting together provided its own risks for both of them, yet they couldn't stay away from each other either.

While Jason is looking for  second chance at a baseball career, Stacia is trying to prove herself worthy of her job.  She's also trying to prove that she can make it outside of her father's control and she doesn't have to follow the path he laid out for her.  Their interactions were often funny. Though sometimes it felt as if their emotions were lacking. I likened that to being scared and also on Stacia's end not really knowing how best to display her emotions, her father certainly wasn't a great example.
