The Truth About Us is the fantastic conclusion to teh Truth Duet and in it's pages are a whole lot of answers and even more questions, but there's also some swoons and a second chance for Penn and Cora.
I'm going to vague-review this story if only to save you from any sort of spoilers. We pick up where book one left us and if you are like me you are full of questions and curious to see how things are going to play out after that point. Cora is devastated and hurting and about to face even more unknown problems. Cora has never known an easy life, so we all should have guessed nothing about her "freedom" would be easy either.
Martinez maintains the thread of danger and suspense throughout the pages of this story while also tugging heart strings as we learn new details about Cora and Penn's pasts and their unusual connection. We are full speed ahead as the story explodes with different angles and new twists leading us on a merry chase with Cora and Penn and watching as they try to work through it all and piece together how to save each other.
