About HAYDEN
I am a hothead, a wild card, and a son to a murdered man. I crave things I can’t have and don’t want the things I can. Now I’m left to pick up the pieces—stitch our family back together with a damaged thread. This isn’t the life I envisioned. And to make matters worse, the women in our lives are testing the strength of our brotherhood. My name is Hayden Pearson. I am the eldest—a protective, but vindictive son. People may think I’m too young to fill our father’s shoes, but it won’t stop me from proving them all wrong. **** First came the Four Fathers. Now it’s time for the Four Sons. REVIEW
Hayden's story was quite the ride. Of the four brothers, he's the most put upon after their father's death. Hayden's struggling with a lot of things and he isn't exactly sure how to sort through his feelings about it all which causes him to lash out at those he loves and cares about. Hayden's taken up the reins in his fathers stead when it comes to the business, but he's also become defacto guardian for his younger brothers. When he meets Lucy's best friend, sparks fly but his issues quickly get in between them and Katie decides she can't handle him like this.
What proceeds is a wild ride of secret reveals, a touch of drama, a second chance at love and of course something to unite the brothers once again and show them all they have each other's backs. Done all in the wild and crazy way of the Pearson boys, because why wouldn't it be.
I really enjoyed diving deeper into Hayden and the man he's become since Eric's death. He's got a lot on his shoulders and it can be overpowering for him but I loved how his family was there for him and helped him see the way. I also truly enjoyed watching as he let himself really feel and move past what happened to his father and how it left him.
