Review
Rules of Friendship is a standalone friends to lovers story. This isn't really your typical story which made it all the more enjoyable. Both Reese and Dawson have developed more than friendly feelings for each other - but neither wants to ruin the perfect friendship they have so they are trying to stick to the rules. But sometimes rules are meant to be broken and can't the perfect friendship survive growing into more? They are about to find out.
Harms developed the angst and height of emotions throughout this story perfectly - I could feel the anxiety between them as they tried to fight their feelings, the worry of losing each other, the fear of the unknown, as it were. There were so many moments I wanted to knock some sense into both of these characters, but I could also understand why they did what they did, why they held back.
I was on the edge of my seat at times wondering how things would go, what was coming around the next chapter, and if these two would find a way to have it all. The characters were great, their interactions fit them well and drew me in, and the story all in all was compelling enough that I didn't want to set my kindle down.

She lives in Illinois and enjoys spending time with her husband and two children. She holds an addiction for Starbucks White Chocolate Mocha’s and KitKat when she should really be focusing on water and maybe a fruit or two to make herself feel less guilty, but that feeling quickly passes...thankfully.
She is easy going, fun, and although she may seem like one of the quiet ones at first, you just wait until she gets to know you better...that quietness changes, fast.
